「黄金バット」で知られる紙芝居作家で、庶民文化にまつわる多くの著作をのこした加太こうじ（1918～98年）の遺品が昨年、葛飾区金町の自宅で見つかった。紙芝居の原画や取材メモ、テープ、手紙、写真など貴重な資料が含まれ、葛飾区立中央図書館が受け入れに向けて整理を進めている。
遺品は、加太の長女池部鞆子（ともこ）さんが昨年5月に亡くなった後、夫の義輔（よしすけ）さん（84）が書斎を整理した際に発見した。加太の没後、鞆子さんが蔵書や写真などを同図書館に寄贈していたが、新たに100点を超える資料が見つかった。
特に注目されるのは、加太の意向で門外不出だった「黄金バット ナゾー編」の原画だ。表紙に「作画・加太こうじ」と書かれ、裏に直筆で台詞（せりふ）が記されていた。同図書館で遺品の整理を担当する田中雅志さんは「箱に『決して貸し出さないとの遺言あり』と書かれており、貴重なものです」と話す。
